Description: Medium sized Micrantholithus with deeply indented sides and elevated structure.

Micrantholithus minimus Bown & Dunkley Jones, 2006

Description: A small (typically <4 µm) Micrantholithus with raised ridges along the line of the segment sutures that give the appearance of a deeply indented pentalith. Many specimens, however, have thin calcite between the raised, birefringent areas.

Micrantholithus flos Deflandre in Deflandre & Fert, 1954

Description: Micrantholithus with relatively straight edges.

Remarks: Comparable with Micrantholithus hoschulzii (Reinhardt, 1966) Thierstein, 1971 described from the Lower Cretaceous.

Description: Large, elevated Micrantholithus with deeply indented sides and gracile, long rays. The height of the pentalith results in a ragged LM appearance.

Description: Micrantholithus with relatively straight edges and raised ridges around the sutures that widen at their ends.

Remarks: Similar to Micrantholithus flos but with raised ridges around the sutures that widen at their ends.

Description: Small to large Micrantholithus with shallowly indented sides and rounded apices.

Remarks: Comparable to Micrantholithus obtusus Stradner, 1963 described from the Lower Cretaceous.
