Blackites atani (iVarol, 1989) Bown, 2005

Description: Small rhabdolith with relatively low, hollow sacculiform spine that broadens rapidly from a narrow base and then tapers to form a low, pointed dome. Typically the height and width are similar; the spine is similar in width or slightly wider than the coccolith.

Remarks: Resembles B. morionum but the spine broadens from a narrow neck at the spine base.
