Blackites furvus Bown & Dunkley Jones, 2006

Description: Medium-sized, subcircular-circular coccoliths with broad, low-birefringence shields crossed by strongly curving extinction lines. The central area is narrow or closed and is typically marked by a dark subcircular process.
