Braarudosphaera Deflandre 1947 [Pontosphaera]

Description: Pentaliths approximately pentagonal, sutures go to edges of pentagon. NB In Micrantholithus sutures go to vertices of the pentagon.

Remarks:

Type species: Pontosphaera bigelowii Gran & Braarud 1935.

Range: Cretaceous to Recent.
