Umbellosphaera irregularis Paasche in Markali and Paasche, 1955

Description: Coccoliths concave outwards, without ridges on the distal surface.

Remarks: The conave outward shape of the coccliths gives the coccospheres a very irregular appearace in LM, hence the species name.
