Description: Coccoliths large (>11µm), usually sub-circular.
Remarks:
The distinction from C. floridanus on size is arbitrary, but of

Description: Coccoliths circular to sub-circular with small central-area, proximal shield significantly smaller than distal shield. Included by some authors in Reticulofenestra. Grill delicate and rarely preserved.
